Plot of the Movie
Shankar (Mithun Chakraborty) was imprisoned when he was thirteen years old for assassinating his uncle, who was attempting to sell his mother Yashoda (Nutan) to a wealthy and powerful man named Khan (Amrish Puri). He was sentenced to ten years in prison.
When he returns home, he discovers his mother and sister in poor health. He tries to maintain proper behavior and make amends, but his efforts are futile because he is widely recognised as a criminal, and he joins a gang of criminals commanded by Malik, a generous man (Sharat Saxena).
His mother, an upright woman, refuses to accept him in this state and declares that she will have nothing to do with him. He meets Malik’s daughter Sonia (Madhuri Dixit) and falls in love.

Shankar becomes disoriented as the situation becomes more intricate. He loses his buddies in repeated fights with the cops, and when Sonia discovers she’s pregnant, she leaves him and moves in with Yashoda.
He returns home, alone and mistreated, yet his past life pursues him. What will happen to him in life?
So, we find Mujrim, the film, so engaging, entertaining and well-narrated.
