Mithun is a devout member of the department’s police force who adores Somy Ali. In the outer world, he is harsh, yet at home, He is gentle towards his younger brother Jai. Jai is a “good-natured” young man who falls in love with Shweta. Meanwhile, a group of five people has formed. A bank heist is planned by a group of criminals (Prem Chopra, Gulshan Grover, Puneet Issar, Amrit Pal, and Sheila), and Saif gets involved in the robbery. He was on the run from the cops. Officially, Mithun is tasked with apprehending Jai at any costs, and he makes every attempt to do so, but fails. The governor, Sheila’s husband, is another prominent figure. When members of the group are slaughtered one by one, the situation grows much worse. Mithun is now dead set on apprehending Jai,
alive or dead. Meanwhile, Mithun tells that his lover Somy Ali works as a bar dancer in the same thieves’ club. Jai, on the other hand, attempts to gather proof to show his brother that he is innocent, but he is unsuccessful. Some Ali sees him leaving the residence of the criminal who was slain, which turns into a greater problem.

Anu Malik scored the music for the film, and Qateel Shifai, Pooja Ahuja, and Dev Kohli wrote the lyrics. The music played in the background. The album was published in 1994 on Audio Cassette by Weston Components Music and contains six tracks. Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, and Udit Narayan recorded the entire album.
‘Yaar Gaddar,’ a 1994 film directed by Umesh Mehra, is an entertaining movie with both positive and negative aspects. Pluses: The movie has a solid narrative, good music, great songs, and good acting. Negatives: The film’s finale is underwhelming, and The comedy track is a yawner. Overall, ‘Yaar Gaddar’ is deserving of a one-time viewing! Mithun Chakraborty is a terrific performer, and he is as impressive in this picture. Saif Ali Khan is a standout performer. Mithun and Saif have great chemistry together.
Somy Ali is a fantastic performer. The lady in Saif’s film is nice. Prem Chopra, Gulshan Grover, Puneet Issar, and Anjana Mumtaz are all excellent performers. The comedic tune by Johnny Lever is uninteresting. The villain is played by an acceptable actor.
